Academic year: The academic year starts in the last week of August and ends in June. The school breaks for summer vacation in July and August, for winter and Ramadan holidays.
Holidays: The school observes common holidays apart from summer vacation. The school has a five day week. Fridays and Saturdays are declared holidays. However, Saturdays may be utilized for remedial/special classes .
Transport: Transport facility is available throughout Wadi Al Dawasir . Transport is provided as a convenience and it is not mandatory on the part of school. All humanly possible care is taken to make it safe for the students. However, the school will not be responsible for any unforeseen incidents. The buses will ply only in accordance with the existing routes chalked out by school. Students are to reach the respective pick up points in time. The bus fee is collected along with tuition fee.
Examination: There will be Class Tests and Two Term Examinations. Regular Class Tests will be conducted through out the academic year to assess the progress of students.
Promotion: Promotion is based on the day to day work of the students throughout the year and also on the performance in the semester exams. Students required minimum 80% attendance for getting promotion
Progress Report, Achievement Record: The progress Reports and Achievement Records are issued after each semester Exams and normally distributed in the Open House. Parents must attend the Open House, sign the progress reports and given it back to the concerned teachers, and they have to take necessary follow up actions.
Communication: Parents / guardians are requested to have good communication with the school authorities. They should mention the class, division and admission number of the child in their correspondence to school. They are also requested to inform the school authorities about the changes in address and phone numbers if any.
School Store: The School provides the prescribed text books, work books, note books, student’s handbooks, uniform etc at the store. Parents and students are requested to make use of this facility, as per the programme announced, in the beginning of the academic year.
School Clinic: First aid is provided in the school for treating minor injuries that may occur and in the case of major cases, nearest hospital / doctor will be contacted immediately. The school will not be responsible for any other treatment given to the child.
Canteen: Canteen facility providing healthy soft drinks and snacks is available to the students.
